May 27th, 2010: Datavalet, in conjunction with their partner Bell West, have deployed comprehensive WiFi and WLAN managed services for the City of Surrey in British Columbia. Using Datavalet managed services, the City of Surrey is able to offer controlled, secure Wi-Fi access within Holland park.
With the Datavalet managed services for guest access networks, the City of Surrey is offering free public Wi-Fi services within its Holland park area to all park visitors. Datavalet Content Control services ensure that the city is able to enforce the terms of use for their Wi-Fi network and prevent users from accessing questionable content. As part of the service, Datavalet is also providing a 24/7/365 call center through a toll free number which will provide technical support to the city and end users.
Datavalet is supporting the municipal Wifi network with their WLAN management services to ensure network security. Datavalet WLAN managed services continuously monitor the WiFi network to protect against any security breaches such as rogue devices, as well as troubleshooting for any faulty access points.
